HOW IT WORKS
Create something original. Bold, retro, tropical, minimal... it's up to you!
Finalists go head-to-head on Instagram and the Sun Ninja community chooses the winners.
1st prize is $1,500 and your tent gets made for Summer 2027!
2nd prize = $750, and 3rd prize = $500.
FAQs
Do I need to be a professional designer?
Absolutely not.
Just use your creativity, and show us your inspiration. If your design is selected, we'll help you turn it into a format that is able to be manufactured. Just remember to make sure your design fits our Design Template.
Can I use AI or other creative tools?
Yes, provided you have the necessary rights to everything contained in your final submission.
How are finalists selected?
Sun Ninja will select up to 8 finalists based on originality, creativity, brand fit and suitability for production. Those finalists will then be voted on by the community in Instagram to determine the winner.
How are the winners chosen?
The shortlisted designs will be presented to the Sun Ninja community on Instagram for public voting.
When does the competition close?
We'll be accepting submissions up until Midnight PST on Saturday 17th October.
When will finalists be announced?
Finalists will be announced on Tuesday 20th October and will be notified by email.
What happens after the finalists are announced?
Sun Ninja wil post all designs selected as finalists to it's Instagram page for public voting. If you are selected, you'll receive notification and will we able to share the post with your Instagram following to encourage them to vote for your design.
